Mishael

Mishael, whose first experience with dance was ballet and tap classes in elementary school, has been belly dancing for over 10 years. Prior to joining The Wings of Isis in November 2010, she taught classes at another Dallas area belly dance studio and danced with local tribal troupe, Tribal Evolution.

As both a dancer and a choreographer, Mishael is known for high-energy performances that draw audience members in and allow them to share the excitement she feels as she dances. She is also known for her exuberant personality and mischievous smile, and has been honored by other dancers at the studio as one of the funniest, friendliest and most outgoing dancers there.

Mishael specializes in dancing with zills (finger cymbals), cane, sword, wings and - her personal favorite - candle tray.

She dances regularly at Scarborough Renaissance Faire, studio haflas, community festivals, and special events.  An avid seamstress, Mishael helps to design and construct most of The Wings of Isis’ current costumes
