Candace has studied belly dance with Isis and other instructors since 1996.  She is a member of the Isis Performing Company and has performed in various settings, including studio, seminar, both outdoor and indoor festival, restaurant, and competition.  She is skilled in the use of various props, including veil, zills, cane, candle, and sword.  Candace is also a musician and has studied and performed various styles of Middle Eastern music.  Her musical studies have given her an excellent understanding of Middle Eastern music, and greatly enriched her dancing.

Prior to beginning her journey in Middle Eastern dance and music, Candace already had other performing arts experience.  She has studied ballet, piano, and singing, and has performed solo and with groups in talent shows and competitions.  She has also performed with various choral groups and in musical theater productions.  Candace enjoys dance, music, and entertaining.
