Ayperi
Ayperi began
dancing at the Star Dancer Studio in 1998 after seeing the joy dancing with
Isis brought to her mother. Since then, she has found a large family of
sorts in the dance community. From being a member of the Angels of Isis, the
Professional Performing Company, and finally the Wings of Isis, Ayperi
embodies what hard work and constantly growing talent will do when
cultivated. She currently performs at Yaa Halla Y’all, Scarborough Faire
Renaissance Festival, local fine arts festivals, haflas, and private
parties.
In addition to Raqs Sharqi, she also participates in Garba
Raas and has experience with various folk and ballroom
dances.
