Meleah has been a professional make-up artist, performer and instructor for over 20 years. She works on location, doing make-up for photo shoots, video, weddings, and post surgery clients. She has a special talent for transforming people and enhancing their best features. She has her own line of cosmetics formulated for the dancer and teaches classes for dancers and professional men and women. She also enjoys doing individual consultations, where she can design make-up for each person's special needs. She has produced an instructional video, "Face-It, Stage Make-Up for Belly Dancers". Join us for this early-bird special workshop on Thursday, August 17 from 2:00p - 5:00p. Learn how to: make eyes pop, have luscious lips, create a dramatic presence, keep make-up on for hours, prep skin for best results and about facial decoration for Tribal and Cabaret styles.
|This will be a "hands on" workshop geared toward the special needs of dancers, both Tribal and Cabaret. You will learn the tricks and techniques of a professional make-up artist for a variety of stage venues. Skin type, bone structure, coloring, placement, and preparation will be discussed. Bring your own make-up supplies to practice as you learn. Meleah will also be demonstrating on several participants.|
|Meleah has her own line of high performance cosmetics and will be discussing how to judge the quality and performance of any line. Learn what to keep, what to toss, what not to waste money on, and what to buy for your own needs.|
|Space is limited for this fun and informative workshop. Bring with you: a mirror, tissues, make-up, tools, notepad, your questions and problems.|
