For over 30 years, Mary Ellen Donald has been a nationally acclaimed author, performer, instructor, recording artist, and concert producer in Middle Eastern percussion: doumbec drum, Arabic tambourine, finger cymbals, and frame drum. Over the past 12 years, Mary Ellen has emerged as a jazz singer, drawing rave reviews for her rich voice, boundless creativity, and joyful presence.  Clearly, her blindness has not held her back.
