Saturday Workshop Schedule:
- 11:00-12:30: KISS Drum Solo (Keep It Something Simple) - Because it doesn’t have to be busy to be cool! Learn a fun drum solo created and taught by Ayperi.
- 12:30-1:00: Break
- 1:00-2:30: Ring-A-Ding Ding – Two Wings Teach a Thing (or two about Zills 😊) It’s all about ZILLS! Bring your zills and learn some fun zill combos with Mishael and Isabella. This class will help beginner through advanced dancers!
- 2:30-3:00: Break
- 3:00-4:30: Wings' Favorite Combos - Safira and Rosanna will teach you all theWings' favorite 16-32 count combos. Can you guess which Wing submitted which combo? There will be a prize for each winner!
Sunday Workshop Schedule:
- 11:00-12:30 Dancer-Led Improv with Drum Accompaniment, revisited Learn to communicate with drummers during live performances! Helena and Lynx will review the skills learned in the first workshop (taught in 2022), practice with our amazing drummers, and learn a few new cues. Appropriate for beginner through advance dancers.
- 11:00-12:30: Drum Workshop! Dancer-Led Improv for Drummers, revisited - Led by Malachi & Zann, this workshop is the partner class to the Dancer-Led Improv workshop. Participants will learn to communicate with dancers during live performances! We will review skills learned in the workshop in 2022, practice with our amazing dancers, and learn a few new cues. Appropriate for beginner through advanced drummers.
- 12:30-1:00: Break
- 1:00-2:30: Love Story - A playful, medium tempo choreography full of gooey layers. Choreographed and taught by Ghaval who will offer a variety of layering options for beginners and advanced dancers alike!
- 2:30-3:00: Break
- 3:00-4:30: Show Your Flair: Skirt Combos - Bring your 25-yard skirt and hone your skills and technique with skirt combos created and taught by Persephone.
