Belly Dance Star Competition Categories
Drum Solo - Cabaret or Fusion - Choreo length minimum of 3.5 minutes and a max of 4 minutes
Any number of years dancing experience level
Duet/Trio - Cabaret or Fusion - Choreo length max 4 minutes
2 to 3 performers - Any number of years dancing experience level
Drummer & Dancer Duet - Cabaret or Fusion - Choreo length max 4 minutes
Any number of years dancing/drumming experience level - No pre-recorded music
Fusion Solo Professional - Fusion Only - Choreo length max 5 minutes
5 years or more dance experience and/or teacher and/or paid professional, restaurant performer
Friday
Troupe - Cabaret or Fusion - Choreo length minimum of 5 minutes and a max of 6 minutes
4 or more performers - any number of years dancing/drumming experience level
Raks Sharki Cabaret Solo Professional - Cabaret Only - Choreo length max 5 minutes
5 years or more dance experience and/or teacher and/or paid professional, restaurant performer
Rising Star Solo - Cabaret or Fusion - Choreo length max 4 minutes
Under 5 years experience in dance and/or pre-professional, non-restaurant performer, non-teacher
Prop Solo - Cabaret or Fusion - Choreo length max 4 minutes
Any number of years dancing experience level

All dancers must be registered for one full day of workshops per category of competition.
