These cymbals are reminiscent of "the old Souk" where coppersmiths spun and hammered cymbals for a living, testing each cymbal individually to ensure the tones met their personal standards before selling them.

The Afghani brass cymbals are made of premium quality hard allow and are of a simpler design than the silver tone. The silver tone depicts an intricate design of "Khamsah" (Hand of Fatima) and an Arabic script: "Masha' Allah" (meaning "God Willing"), which is widely known for its definition in the Middle East. 2 3/4" diameter.

Even though these quality cymbals are currently being used by the Dervish performers of Turkey and North Africa, percussionists of the Middle East also utilize these cymbals in their ensembles. 3" diameter.

These cymbals were specially designed for both small hands and children. Tinkerzills are of a slightly higher tone than the Minizills. Both designs are made of Solid Brass with double slots and are 1 3/4" diameter. Not available in Silver Tone.
