     Lauren holds a Bachelors degree in Percussion from Boston’s world renowned Berklee College of Music, and a Masters in Arts Administration from the University of Kentucky.  This, combined with her extensive dance training, make her an innovative performer and effective teacher.

     In 2006 Lauren moved to Los Angeles to train and perform with Jillina’s Sahlala Dance company. From 2008-2012 she toured with the “Bellydance Superstars” and has appeared in many of their videos including: “Bombay Bellywood: BDSS live from Los Angeles”.  Lauren, up till recently, was a part of the production team and cast of Bellydance Evolution and was excited to share her artistic passion, and vision with this revolutionary new project.

In addition to these accomplishments Lauren is a published writer, with articles in Gilded Serpent, both online and in print.

When Lauren is not busy touring she teaches and performs in Los Angeles, CA.
