Sadie has been raq'n drum solos for over 15 years! In this workshop she will take you on an exploration of her signature techniques and tricks-of-the-trade to help you develop stunning isolations and combos. Then put it all into action with one of Sadie's newest drum solo choreographies.

‘The Unusual Drum Solo’ -
An unexpected spin on the traditional drum solo, learn a piece that is choreographed to glass bottles, a marching band or industrial sounds. Learn how to reflect the sounds and mood of the “drumming” with the grace and simplicity of your movements. Drill exercises for improvisational popping sections. Electrify your audience with fast and energetic combinations, and create suspense with dramatic pauses. Dance shoes recommended, but not required.

From singers to guitarists, from stage lecturers to dancers, these concepts cross over to all types of stage artists. No choreography being done nor zills needed. Bring a notebook and be prepared to unlock some hidden charisma. Lecture/demo style class. Bring your lunch!

‘Move like a snake: what transnational-fusion bellydance can bring into your
dance.’ -
In this workshop we will cover all the technique details on how to create and
execute the snake-like movements that make transnational fusion unique. Muscle
by muscle, step by step, upper-body isolations and lots of arm and hand work will
be put together in steps and combinations to mesmerize any audience. Fluidity
and smoothness at its best.
